Everybody Loves a Comeback
The Steve’s Pizza story continues to evolve. After a nine year absence since a Steve’s Pizza store served the community of Folsom. Steve’s returned in 2020 at a new location, under new ownership with a positive attitude and commitment to our community. If you are not yet familiar with Steve’s Pizza’s long history, we invite you to read the brief story below.
In 1978, Steve Wilkinson was approached by a close friend and enticed to open a pizza parlor in downtown Davis, California. At the time, Davis was a sleepy, rural town adjacent to the University of California, a growing agricultural and medical research campus. Word quickly spread through the community regarding the quality of his menu and the “friendly guy with the large mustache” who worked day and night to make his new venture successful. Thus was born, Steve’s Pizza.
Today there are six locations in the Greater Sacramento area. Those include the original store in Davis, Woodland, East Sacramento, Elk Grove, El Dorado Hills and of course right here in Folsom. We look forward to the continued growth of Steve’s Pizza and maintaining the original commitment of Steve Wilkinson, to provide great food at reasonable prices in an atmosphere conducive to fun and family.
We Value Our Community
Our new location here in Folsom is a direct result of the success we have achieved at our store in El Dorado Hills. We plan to build success here in Folsom the same way we did in the EDH, by putting our community first!
You can count on us participating at community events as well as providing opportunities for residents to optimize their fundraisers, parties and events here at our store. We pride ourselves on Dine Out Nights where we help contribute to your fundraising efforts. We don’t want to be a local stop-and-go pizza joint. We want to be that place you come to hang out and enjoy a beer and/or glass of wine while enjoying your food.
