Everybody Loves a Comeback
We’re back, Folsom! After close to a decade without a Steve’s Pizza in town, we reopened at 1840 Prairie City Road, Suite 100, under new ownership – with a fresh start, a positive attitude and a real commitment to this community. If you are not yet familiar with the long history of Steve’s Pizza, here is the short version.
In 1978, Steve Wilkinson was approached by a close friend and talked into opening a pizza parlor in downtown Davis, California. At the time, Davis was a sleepy, rural town next to the University of California, a growing agricultural and medical research campus. Word quickly spread through the community about the quality of his menu and the “friendly guy with the large mustache” who worked day and night to make his new venture a success. Thus was born, Steve’s Pizza.
Today there are six Steve’s Pizza locations in the Greater Sacramento area: the original store in Davis, plus Woodland, East Sacramento, Elk Grove, El Dorado Hills and, of course, right here in Folsom. Each one carries on Steve Wilkinson’s original commitment – great food at reasonable prices, in an atmosphere made for fun and family.
We Value Our Community
Our Folsom restaurant is a direct result of the success of our sister store in El Dorado Hills. We are building our place in Folsom the same way we did in EDH: by putting the community first.
You can count on us to show up at local events and to give residents easy ways to make the most of their fundraisers, parties and get-togethers at our restaurant. We don’t want to be a stop-and-go pizza joint. We want to be the place you come to hang out and enjoy a beer or a glass of wine with your food.

Fundraisers, Dine Out Nights and Group Events
Supporting local schools, youth sports and community groups is a big part of who we are. Our Dine Out Nights are a simple way for an organization to raise money: your supporters enjoy a pizza night at Steve’s, and we help contribute to your fundraising goal. It is an easy event for families, because nobody has to cook, sell anything door to door or volunteer for hours.
If you are planning a fundraiser, here is how to get started:
- Call the restaurant at (916) 461-1500 or send us a note through our contact page to ask about available dates.
- Tell us about your group – the school, team or organization, and roughly how many supporters you expect.
- Spread the word to your families, teammates and friends so they know which night to come in or order.
We also welcome team parties, birthday dinners and office lunches. For larger groups, calling ahead helps us have tables and pizzas ready when you arrive.
What You’ll Find on Our Menu
Our menu is centered on made-to-order pizza, led by our signature pizza, The Steve, and house favorites like the All Meat, Californian, El Dorado, Waikiki and Margherita pizzas. You can also build your own pizza, and round out the meal with chicken wings, salads, sides, sandwiches and burgers. We pour local and regional craft beer on tap.
